Continuing Education Review Panel
Job Description

Purpose of the CE Review Panel

The purpose of the CE Review Panel is to assist in the development and re-evaluation of education resources. As a volunteer on this panel, the majority of your participation will consist of reading a printed continuing education resource, taking a corresponding test, and recording your time. At times, however, you may be called upon to evaluate other educational resources including videotapes, audiotapes, and electronic media. Additionally, we frequently re-pilot our current educational resources. This enables us to ensure their continued viability and to reaffirm the amount of continuing education credit that has been awarded.

Charges of the CE Review Panel

The CE Review Panel provides feedback for educational resources during development and re-evaluation. The feedback received from this panel is vital in helping us to maintain our standards for self-directed learning.

Workload and timeline

Workload will vary depending on the quantity of resources pending review. The work will commence upon appointment to the review panel and continue for the duration of the fiscal year. Review panel members will receive an invitation to participate in the review of a resource via email. Upon receipt of the invitation, the review panel members will have 48 hour to accept or decline the project. Average project length is 2 hours.
